Wroclaw Panthers sign Spanish homegrown Jorge Hernández

The Wroclaw Panthers have found their second Spanish homegrown player, signing linebacker Jorge Hernández thanks to the Spanish solidarity rule. Hernández brings two seasons of ELF experience and an impressive stat line to the Panthers‘ linebacker corps.

Two strong seasons in Spain

Hernández spent the last two seasons in the European League of Football, lining up for the Barcelona Dragons before moving to the Madrid Bravos. Across 24 games the 30-year-old built a reputation as a productive and impactful linebacker, recording 104 tackles, 3.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Those are the kind of numbers that make opposing offenses take notice.

A proven playmaker joining Wroclaw

The Panthers are getting a linebacker who has consistently performed at a high level and knows how to make big plays when it matters. Hernández’s combination of tackle production, pass rush ability and instincts around the ball makes him a well-rounded addition to a Wroclaw defense that is steadily taking shape ahead of the 2026 season.

With Hernández on board, the Wroclaw Panthers continue to make smart use of the Spanish solidarity rule as they build a competitive and experienced roster for 2026.
