American Football League Europe Names Swiss Sport TV as Free-to-Air Broadcast Partner in Switzerland
The American Football League Europe (AFLE) is proud to announce a broadcast partnership with Swiss Sport TV, making it the new free-to-air TV partner of the AFLE in Switzerland. Under the agreement, Swiss Sport TV becomes the official free-to-air home of the Alpine Rams for the remainder of the AFLE’s inaugural 2026 season, covering every remaining Alpine Rams game, both AFLE playoff games, and the AFLE Gold Bowl 2026 on September 6 – all free of charge and available across Switzerland. From kickoff to final whistle, fans will be able to follow the AFLE all the way to the season’s final game.

Free-to-Air Football for Every Alpine Rams Fan in Switzerland
With Swiss Sport TV on board, Alpine Rams fans across Switzerland can follow their team on a national platform, without a paywall, without a subscription, and without missing a single play.
With its broad reach across Swiss households, Swiss Sport TV is the ideal partner to bring American football to a wide mainstream audience and to grow the sport in Switzerland for years to come.
“Free-to-air television in Switzerland is exactly what the Alpine Rams and their fans deserve heading into the final stretch of our inaugural season. Securing this partnership towards the end of our inaugural season shows how quickly the AFLE is gaining ground in new markets, and it gives Swiss fans a front-row seat not to just every remaining Alpine Rams game, but to the playoffs and the AFLE Gold Bowl 2026 as well,” said Fabienne Lampe, Head of Communications of the AFLE.
Coverage Already Underway
The partnership between the AFLE and Swiss Sport TV is already underway: coverage began last weekend with the Alpine Rams’ game at Rhein Fire on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
“Swiss sports are close to our hearts, so we’re delighted to be able to broadcast the Alpine Rams in action as well as the AFLE final games live, showcasing the best football players from Switzerland and Europe. American football definitely deserves more attention, and we’re proud to offer this sport a fitting platform,” said Simon von Allmen, responsible for Program and Communication at Swiss Sport TV.
