Homegrown star Harlan Kwofie stays with Rhein Fire

Rhein Fire have secured a key piece of their franchise for their first season in the American Football League Europe. Harlan Kwofie will remain with the team and continue his journey with the German organization.

The 26-year-old wide receiver is considered one of the most talented players at his position in Europe. Since Rhein Fire’s return to European football, Kwofie has been an important part of the team and a constant presence on the field.

A champion with big-game experience

During his time in the European League of Football, Kwofie proved his quality at the highest level. He helped Rhein Fire win back-to-back championships in 2023 and 2024.

His performances in those seasons showed not only his talent, but also his ability to deliver in important moments. He became one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the league.

International attention

Kwofie’s strong performances also attracted attention beyond Europe. In 2022, he was invited to the NFL International Combine, where scouts evaluated top international prospects.

This invitation highlighted his potential and confirmed his reputation as one of Europe’s standout wide receivers.

Production and passion

Over four seasons in the ELF, Kwofie recorded 154 receptions for 2,708 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns. These numbers underline his impact on the field and his importance to the team’s success.

With Kwofie, Rhein Fire keep not only a highly explosive receiver, but also a true fan favorite. His connection with the supporters and his consistent performances make him a central figure as the franchise enters the American Football League Europe era.
