Alpine Rams strengthen roster with French defensive end Julien Kouoh

The Alpine Rams have found their next pass rusher, signing French defensive end Julien Kouoh ahead of the 2026 season. Kouoh arrives with a trophy-winning resume and the kind of disruptive ability that offensive lines across the AFLE will need to prepare for.

A champion across multiple countries

Kouoh has already tasted success at the highest level of European club football, winning titles in both France and Finland during his career. Those championship experiences have shaped him into a winning mentality player who knows what it takes to perform when it matters most.

Making his mark in Germany

Most recently Kouoh played for the Düsseldorf Panthers in Germany, where he turned heads with a series of strong performances and showed exactly what he is capable of as a pass rusher. His ability to terrorize opposing offensive lines and pressure quarterbacks was on full display, making him an attractive signing for the Alpine Rams.

Experience across Europe

Having played in France, Finland and Germany, Kouoh brings a broad range of experience and adaptability to the Swiss franchise. That background across different leagues and systems will serve him well as the Rams prepare for their first ever season in the AFLE.

With Kouoh on board, the Alpine Rams are adding serious firepower to their defensive front ahead of the 2026 season.
