Alpine Rams strengthen offensive line with Serbian lineman Ilija Krajnovic
The Alpine Rams have added another piece to their offensive line, signing Serbian lineman Ilija Krajnovic ahead of the 2026 season. Krajnovic brings college experience from the United States and is expected to become an important part of the Swiss franchise’s offense.
College experience at a high level
Krajnovic spent recent years playing college football in the United States at Boston College and Western Carolina, giving him the opportunity to develop and prove himself against strong competition. That experience across two college programs has equipped him with the technical foundation and physical readiness to make an immediate impact at the professional level.
Protecting the quarterback and opening lanes
At the Alpine Rams, Krajnovic will be tasked with protecting quarterback Gabriel Cunningham and creating running lanes for the offense. His experience and talent make him a reliable and important presence up front, and the Rams will be counting on him to be a key pillar of their offensive line as they prepare for their debut season in 2026.
