Sport en France Becomes Broadcaster of the Paris Lights and the American Football League Europe in France

The American Football League Europe (AFLE) today announced a broadcast partnership with Sport en France, the free-to-air sports channel of the French sports movement published by Media365, making it the official broadcaster of the AFLE and all Paris Lights matches in France. The deal marks a significant step in the AFLE’s mission to grow professional American football across Europe and bring the Paris Lights to audiences nationwide.

A New American Football Home on Sport en France

By partnering with the AFLE and the Paris Lights, Sport en France reinforces its position as a media platform dedicated to showcasing all sports and emerging leagues. The partnership draws on more than 20 years of core expertise at MEDIA365: live linear TV coverage of matches combined with a comprehensive digital offering designed to sustainably grow the visibility of the franchise and the league among both the general public and fan communities.

Starting with the 2026 season, Paris Lights matches will be available live and/or on replay on the Sport en France channel and via free streaming on the channel’s digital platforms. Additional matches and playoff rounds will also be broadcast on Sport en France.

Kickoff: Paris Lights vs. Firenze Red Lions: Saturday, May 30, 2026

The broadcast partnership goes live immediately: Sport en France will cover the Paris Lights’ first official AFLE home game on Saturday, May 30, at 10:00 AM (French time), against the Firenze Red Lions. The historic fixture takes place at the Complexe Sportif de l’Île-des-Vannes in L’Île-Saint-Denis, the first-ever AFLE home match for the Parisian franchise, in front of their own fans.

„The Paris Lights playing their first home game tomorrow is a moment we’ve been building toward since the very beginning. Having Sport en France bring that moment to fans across France, live, free, and on a channel that genuinely cares about the sports it covers, makes it even more special. French fans deserve a front-row seat to what the AFLE is building, and now they have one,“ said Moritz Heisler, Managing Director and COO of the AFLE.

Enhanced TV and Social Media Coverage

Beyond match broadcasts, Sport en France and Media365 are deploying their editorial resources to tell the Paris Lights’ season story and introduce the AFLE to as wide an audience as possible. This editorial offering will be complemented by an enhanced social media presence, including highlights, short-form content, behind-the-scenes footage, and educational material on the league’s rules and stars, designed to reach both dedicated American football fans and entirely new audiences.

“With the AFLE, we’re not just broadcasting a new competition – we’re opening a door to a world of passionate fans who live American football at 200 %. At Sport en France, we love these kinds of stories: leagues being built from the ground up, teams launching, fans coming together. Our role is to amplify that energy, share it with as many people as possible, and make every match a moment where you feel right at home – whether you’re discovering the sport for the first time or have followed it for years,” said Romain Schindler, Director of Sport en France.
