Single game rushing records after six weeks
As Week 7 of the very first AFLE season approaches, we take a look at the single game rushing records that have been set so far. Six weeks in and the bar has already been set high.
Most rushing yards in a game
Dawid Brzozowski, Panthers Wroclaw, Week 4 vs Berlin Thunder: 156 yards
Most rushing touchdowns in a game
Ben Holmes, Vienna Vikings, Week 1 vs Berlin Thunder: 2 touchdowns
Most rushing attempts in a game
Karri Pajarinen, Vienna Vikings, Week 3 vs Rhein Fire: 23 attempts
Longest rush in a game
Dawid Brzozowski, Panthers Wroclaw, Week 1 vs London Warriors: 64 yards
Brzozowski features twice on this list and has made a strong case for being the most dangerous running back in the league at his best. Holmes and Pajarinen round out the records with performances that showed just how important the run game can be on any given week. With ten weeks of football still ahead, these numbers are very much there to be beaten.
