London Warriors find their QB1 in American Karé Lyles

The London Warriors have announced their first ever player signing in American Football League Europe history, and they have started at the most important position on the field. American quarterback Karé Lyles will be the man under center as the Warriors begin their AFLE journey.

A college career that found its footing

Lyles began his college career at Wisconsin before transferring to Scottsdale, where he truly came into his own. He earned First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-Western States Football League honors, announcing himself as one of the top quarterbacks at that level. He went on to spend two seasons at Southern Illinois and a year at Jackson State before making the move to European football.

Building his reputation in Europe

Lyles first arrived in Europe in 2023 with the New Yorker Lions before adding a stint with the Prague Lions and a stop at the Dresden Monarchs to his resume. He then returned to the New Yorker Lions, where he put together an impressive campaign. He completed 237 passes, threw 26 touchdown passes against just ten interceptions and added six rushing touchdowns on 53 carries, showing his ability to hurt defenses both through the air and on the ground.

The right man to lead the Warriors

With his experience across multiple European programs and a proven ability to produce at a high level, Lyles is a natural fit to lead the London Warriors into their first ever AFLE season. The Warriors have found their QB1 and are ready to begin their story in European professional football.
