Karri Pajarinen voted fans‘ week 7 MVP
Finnish running back Karri Pajarinen has been voted fans‘ MVP for Week 7 after another dominant display for the Vienna Vikings. The 27-year-old edges out Firenze Red Lions wide receiver Devin Carter to claim the award.

Carter made his case
Carter made a strong case of his own. The Red Lions wideout was electric, hauling in four receiving touchdowns and topping 160 receiving yards in a standout individual performance. But Pajarinen’s contribution to what was another commanding Vikings victory proved to be the deciding factor for fans across the league.
Built on a dominant ground game
The Finnish running back was a key part of a Vikings ground game that ran over the Berlin Thunder defense from start to finish. Alongside fellow running backs Albert Wiesigstrauch, Moritz Jadin and Johannes Schütz, and backed by a dominant Vikings offensive line, Pajarinen was given the space to do what he does best. On 12 carries he rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns at an impressive average of 7.83 yards per carry.
A season going from strength to strength
Those numbers move him to 380 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the season, keeping him firmly among the most productive running backs in the league. Week 7 was another reminder of why Pajarinen is one of the most dangerous weapons in Vienna’s offense.
