German Nick Wiens strengthens Vienna Vikings offensive line

The Vienna Vikings continue to build their roster, signing German interior offensive lineman Nick Wiens as their latest import player. Wiens arrives with an outstanding resume and brings a level of experience and pedigree that further elevates an already strong offensive line group.

A decorated career in European football

Wiens spent four seasons with Rhein Fire after an initial year with the Cologne Centurions, establishing himself as one of the top offensive linemen in European football during that time. Over five seasons he was selected to the All-Star Team three times and claimed back-to-back championship titles with Rhein Fire in 2023 and 2024. That kind of track record speaks for itself and makes him one of the most accomplished offensive linemen to ever make the move to the Vikings.

Adding power and experience to an already strong unit

The Vikings already had a talented offensive line in place, but the addition of Wiens takes the group to another level. His experience in high-pressure situations, combined with his natural talent and physical presence on the interior, gives quarterback Ben Holmes and the Viking offense a formidable foundation to build from.

With Wiens now on board, the Vienna Vikings are making a clear statement of intent as they prepare for the 2026 season.
