Berlin Thunder Stay in Playoff Form With Comfortable Win Over Alpine Rams
Sullivan and Cole once again unstoppable as Thunder claim back-to-back victories

Final Score: Alpine Rams at Berlin Thunder – 17:40
Thunder Mean Business From the Start
Berlin came out with a clear message: the fourth playoff seed is theirs to keep. The Thunder were in control from the opening whistle, and the Alpine Rams had no answers in any phase of the game through the first three quarters. Two fourth-quarter touchdowns gave the scoreline a more respectable look, but by then the game had long been decided.
A Team in Transition
The Rams are going through a period of change with plenty of new faces in the roster, and it showed at times. The talent is clearly there, and they have shown throughout the season what they are capable of on their best days. But building chemistry takes time, and against a sharp and experienced Thunder side this was always going to be a difficult afternoon.
Sullivan and Cole at It Again
Jakeb Sullivan, the league’s leading passer, had another dominant performance. The American quarterback threw for over 350 yards and five passing touchdowns, with Jon Cole once again his primary target. The wide receiver, who leads the league in both receiving yards and touchdowns, hauled in eight catches for over 170 yards and three scores. The Sullivan-Cole connection is simply the most consistent and dangerous in the AFLE right now.
Abraham Shines on Defense
It was not just the offense delivering for Berlin. Cornerback Kessawn Abraham had a complete game on the defensive side, recording six tackles, three pass deflections and an interception in a performance that highlighted the depth of quality this Thunder squad possesses.
What’s Next
Berlin head into a well-earned second bye week in Week 10 before what could be their biggest game of the season, a showdown with the London Warriors in the battle for playoff position. The Alpine Rams travel to Panthers Wroclaw for another stern test.
