Alpine Rams sign defensive lineman Artur Pinheiro Trigueiros

The Alpine Rams are putting the finishing touches on their roster for the 2026 season, signing Portuguese defensive lineman Artur Pinheiro Trigueiros. The experienced lineman adds depth and stability to the Rams‘ front seven as they prepare for their debut AFLE campaign.

Five years of European football experience

Trigueiros has spent the last five years building his career across European football, including four seasons in Spain with the Barcelona Dragons and the Madrid Bravos. Across 35 games he recorded 60 tackles, a sack and six tackles for loss, establishing himself as a reliable and productive presence on the defensive line.

Bringing experience to the Rams‘ front seven

At the Alpine Rams, Trigueiros is expected to bring that same consistency and experience to a front seven that is being built to compete from day one. His familiarity with the European game and his proven ability to contribute across multiple areas of the defensive line make him a valuable addition to the Swiss franchise.

With Trigueiros on board, the Alpine Rams are closing in on their final roster ahead of the 2026 AFLE season.
